Regional Flavours comes to town

Queensland’s premier free food & wine festival Regional Flavours is descending upon Brisbane 21st and 22nd July 2018.

Held in Brisbane’s picturesque South Bank Parklands, Regional Flavours features free entertainment from celebrity chefs (think the MasterChef Australia Judges, Sarah Wilson and Katherine Sabbath to name a few), delicious food, beer and wine, live music and kids activities.

Hungry gastronomes take note – the event is also home to a thriving producer market featuring more than 80 stalls from across the state. Work your way through aromatic wine, rich desserts, crisp fruit and vegetables, flavoursome jams and sauces, creamy nuts and cheeses plus plenty more.

Major activity is focused around the Main Stage and River Quay locations located in the South Bank Piazza and South Bank riverside areas consecutively.

At the Main Stage, the specialty dish is entertainment – served fresh from Australia’s best celebrity chefs and culinary experts including Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris, Miguel Maestre, Sarah Wilson, Katherine Sabbath, Jessica Sepel and Adam Liaw.

Settle in to see how to create global flavours and street-hawker worthy meals at home, take in a tutorial on cooking with Queensland seafood, start to inject sustainable, sugar-free fare to your diet, plus plenty more.

At the River Quay you’ll find a place for those who seek to find a way to leave their world behind for some quality R&R in palatial surrounds.

Abound with the gentle hum of mellow tunes plus food and cocktails from some of South Bank’s five-star restaurants; Stokehouse Q, The Jetty, River Quay Fish, Popolo and Aquitaine, River Quay is Regional Flavours’ most luxe location.
