Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Carnivals in Hong Kong take place in many parts of the city and run for days before and after the festival which is properly celebrated on the 8th Full Moon in the Lunar Calendar.
These are some of the main Lantern celebrations in Hong Kong which are easy to get to:
Mid Autumn Urban Carnival at Victoria Park:
The all-in-one event that offers the lantern displays and a full cultural program including a Fire Dragon Dance, kung fu demonstrations, folk songs and crafts.
Lantern Displays at Victoria Park:
This exhibition features thousands of displays and in previous years, featured a centerpiece chosen based on a design competition.
Tsim Sha Tsui Thematic Lantern Exhibition:
It is set up on the grounds of the HK Cultural Centre Piazza in TST.
The Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance Parade:
Not your typical Dragon Parade and unique to Hong Kong.

Lavazza Italian Film Festival
Italian films have come a long way since the ‘spaghetti westerns’ that were popular in the 1960s. Tesselaar Tulip Festival 2015
The annual Tesselaar Tulip Festival is returning this spring from September 10th-October 6th 2015. The popular festival has been held annually since 1954 in the Dandenong Ranges, less than 60 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. The star of the Festival is of course the tulips- over half a million of them in fact, spread over 25 acres of farmland! In addition, there is plenty of live entertainment, markets, delicious food and more.
