May is upon us which means Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia is just around the corner. Dion Lee is set to open the nation’s most important fashion event of the year and to say anticipation and excitement are running high would be an understatement.

So why do frocked up Sydneysiders have reasons to be extra excited this year? Well, not only will the MBFWA fashion crew get a taste of the 2017 Resort collections from designers such as Roopa, Yousef Akbar and Sass & Bide, this time the week-long fashion celebration won’t stop at Carrigeworks’ runway.

Celeb sightings, afterparties, paparazzi and model mingling are all ingredients for a successful Fashion Week which is why Ovolo Woolloomooloo has extended the party by turning their boutique hotel into Sydney’s Fashion HQ.

The illustrious photographer is holding a special expo of some of her most amazing portraits at Fashion HQ’s Lo Lounge from 8 – 27 May!

For any aspiring models, there’ll be a special model casting event taking place at Ovolo Woolloomooloo. With hungry model scouts on the hunt for the next Gigi Hadid, this is your chance to be discovered girlfriend!
